Halmatic 30 'Kaliph'

After nine very enjoyable years sailing Kaliph the time has come to move on -

she is now (February 2014) sold and gone to a good home.

Now that we have retired (2005) we purchased a larger boat to replace Pranzo.

She is 'Kaliph' a 30 foot Halmatic 30 (actually 29' 6") with a beam of 9' 6" and draft of 4' 6", displacement 4.5 tons.

In 2008 we had a new Beta 20 engine fitted to replace the old Volvo. Kaliph goes much better under power now.

The atrocious weather this summer (2007) stopped a lot of sailing. No sooner than Kaliph was in then it was time to take her out again.
